1. Finishing an Art History essay - is it really sad that school has taken over my life so much that I put that as my number one? That was seriously the first thing to pop into my head, what's wrong with me? But the accomplishment of handing it up is just beyond satisfying.
2. Comedians - Yes I know - it's their job to make people laugh and be happy, but shut up I'm going to talk about it anyway. I know I've talked about my appreciation for Tina Fey before, but really I can't say enough to express my undying and unconditional love for her, so I'll leave it at that. Dara O'Briain, enough said amiright? You know I'm right. He's hilarious and there's simply no denying it. Michael McIntyre, it's my dream to meet anyone even remotely as funny as he is, and just marry them on the spot. It'll happen.
3. Rings - They go with everything, you can wear about 6 at a time, they're cheap, they're great and you all know it. Yes all of you 4 people who may or may not see this.
4.Christmas songs - I'm in the middle of rehearsing for a Christmas Concert (in Bakers Corner Pub, Deansgrange on the 7th December, GO!), and it just makes me so happy listening to the songs, even though I have to learn the most difficult harmonies in the world.
5. My mother - She's not in the continent, and my dinner is severely suffering for the cause. Frankly I think I'm more in need than the homeless Africans she's building houses for! (Mamma's in the back of that picture, I'm the angry looking infant, the adorable one is my sister Kate, and the one in the Man United jersey is my other sister Claire.)
6. My Father - Well hello Daddy, I'm guessing you'll see this. You can see my Dad's blog here. He's a bit of an internet sensation I must admit, with over ten times the amount of blog views that I have, really quite depressing. Anyway he's your token 'cool' Dad, with a Harley Davidson and all. He's also a YouTube hit, and no he doesn't sing or tell jokes, he does How To videos, and I've used one or two myself for projects and that. Anyway he provides me with food and pays my phone bills so for that I love him. I'm guessing the picture was taken roughly 14 years ago, and from the wind I'm gonna say we were in Achill (an island off the west coast of Ireland).
7. Christmas Jumpers - They're comfy, humorous, warm, festive, and with the help of Pimp My Jumper, a company my sister's friend is running, you can now make your OWN CHRISTMAS GEANSAÍ. That's right, it's super cheap, and I have the pack myself and cannot wait until I start. I sound like an awful radio add don't I? God help me.
8. Being an Irish prefect - In our school, there are prefects for almost every subject, most people applied for things like Science, Business and Art, but I'm one of the Ceannairí na nGaeilge and I'm proud. I love Irish, just can't get enough. Having said that, the ole Leaving Cert is gonna be a bitch to pass!
9. My History Teacher - Ah Mr Delahunty, you never fail to entertain me! Last week, we were studying the Social and Economic Change in Britain during the Inter-War years; for those of you who don't know what that is, it's boring and there's nothing fun about it. The case study in the chapter, is the Jarrow March for unemployment in 1936, so our History class (5C) went on the same march, only from the classroom, to the cafeteria for a "break in Nottingham", then to the concert hall to "storm Hyde Park" and "hand over the petition to the Parliament" (the stage covered in tables and chairs). I'm not gonna forget that now, I swear to you all. (By the way he posted the picture on the right on our school History Blog on the post about our homework, do you love him yet?)
10. HARLEY - The classic thing to do here is talk about how 'amazing and supportive' my friends or family are, or how music or fashion inspires my life, but instead I'd like to dedicate my final point to my cat. His name is Harley, he's still only a kitten, he's deaf, he sleeps under my bed and when all my friends are out with boyfriends or people who just generally like them, Harley sits with me and we watch movies together. No man will ever be good enough for me.
That is all.
