I decided that once I figure out the dynamics of my scanner, I'm going to start posting some of the doodles I do when I get bored.
Also, possibly some hair/make up tutorials? Not videos though, God no.

The Apocalypse.

Today, the 24th of October 2011, Ireland were sent into a spiralling panic, with the torrential rain sweeping the nation. This rain is a real bitch. I stood in one of those puddles that look like they're shallow, but really my whole ankle was immersed in water. I was wearing suede shoes, 'nuff said.
Some friends of my sisters were trapped in Dundrum Shopping Centre, so we got a live update on the situation, complete with videos and photos. You'd swear with some of the stuff that we were watching Sky News, and there was a hurricane in some distant country you've actually never heard of until now, but you'll never admit it.

The snow, I can deal with, the cold, I wrap up, the    heat, there can never be enough.. But the rain is my ultimate weakness. I'm a little ashamed to say it, but today I took the bus two stops to avoid walking in it.. I was sitting for a total of 35 seconds, needless to say I got some filthy looks as I got off.
My Dad rides a Harley Davidson to work everyday, and today it took him three attempts to get home, he had to keep turning around. How is it, that Ireland are so shit that we can't even handle the rain?!
On a lighter note, we had a guest speaker in school today for our annual Readers and Writers Week. Her name is Judy May Murphy, and she has to be the most inspirational person I've ever listened to. That sounds so lame and uncool but I don't care who knows it, I want her life. She's a writer, but mainly she gives motivational talks and coaching. Positivity just radiates off this woman, and I don't understand how someone can be that happy all the time, is she on something? And if so, where can we all find said drug?!
I'm almost finished listening to Bossypants, Tina Fey's audio book, and she is just the most witty person, I usually hate women comedians (why are they all so gross?), but by God this woman is funny.
It's ten to twelve, and I'm really hoping my school is shut tomorrow due to the rain, because there's no way in hell I'll be happy to get up in 7 hours. It's amazing how bad the condition of my school is in, today the rain caused the light in the computer room to fall, onto the main school server, stopping all the computers in the school from working. After this, a corridor upstairs began to flood, I didn't know this and was wondering why my vice principal was standing on a bench shouting "WE HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM LADIES", I thought the power was just finally going to her little head. And then the heating and electricity decided to stop working every now and then. For a stereotypical "posh" and "rich" school, it's really an absolute state of an establishment.
Shout out to my Pappa, who was featured on a whole bunch of websites for his Youtube channel hitting half a million views this week.

For a 16 year old, I really have quite a mundane life. Once again I'm home on the designated "going out night", writing to pass the time.

This is my third time writing this post, as my kitten, Harley, keeps walking over my laptop and somehow deleting the whole post, stupid cat.
Today my Dad gave me a laptop he bought for my Nana last year for her birthday, because she can't get internet connection in Carnew, a backwards village in Wicklow where my Dad grew up on a farm. So after months and months of having no working laptop, I'm finally a proud owner of a beautiful little black computer, though I'm warned if I break it, Pop Pop will not be happy.

I've decided I'm getting back to my LOOKBOOK.nu account as it's been a while since I last posted. And the same to Tumblr, but I still refuse to join the Twitter community as it confuses me too much.

At the moment I have iOS5 downloading, and it could not be taking longer. I'm so excited, and have been ever since they announced it with this video in June.

X Factor: I only really started watching this like 2 years ago because it seemed to be the thing to do on a Saturday night, and was a perfect opportunity to do my art homework every week. I haven't quite got a favourite this year yet, but they're all pretty decent (apart from Johnny and Kitty, I'm sick of gimmicks already in X Factor). Janet is good, but I want to see something different from her, it's all whiney songs so far, which she definitely does well but mixing things up a bit would be interesting.

My drama class are doing a play competition in November, and I got my scripts this week. In one play, Women and Wallace, I'm a drunken slut named Wendy and have four lines, chuffed with that one. I was really happy with the other play, Popcorn, I play a girl called Scout, who with her red-neck boyfriend, murders people all over America under the influence of a movie by the main character Bruce, I basically play white trash so I'm super happy with that.

A new shop type thing opened up beside my house the other day where a Barber used to be. Basically they buy old clothes, shoes, hats, phones, books, sheets, towels and a whole load of other useless crap for next to nothing. However, cleaning out my room today earned me €13.42! I can see my wardrobe getting drastically smaller over the next few weeks, and my wallet getting minutely larger, SUCCESS!
It's time to play with iOS5 now, so I'm off. Later!

It seems I have something to look forward to now! My friend, Aoife called me last night asking if I want to go to London with her in December for a few days on a shopping trip. It's nice having something to look forward to now, got to be honest my past few weeks haven't been leading up to much, except X-Factor and Study. Anyway that's sufficiently taking up my brain at the moment, mentally planning what I'm going to buy, so I'm pretty excited!
We had our school retreat yesterday, and I'm a completely reformed woman who has found God. NAAAAT. Apart from my adorable group leader, Deirdre and the key ring I made "representing important people and times in my life", the day seemed like a bit of a waste of time and kind of boring, though it was a nice relaxing break from school.
School's going well these days, and don't want to boast or anything but I got my Maths homework right last night, it's a big deal. Those Un equations are cheeky little fuckers.
I'm starting singing lessons with a woman named Lisa Nolan recommended to me by my drama teacher, Paul, next Monday. I'm pretty nervous but I suppose it's about time I stop singing like a dying mouse. I'm auditioning for three songs for the Tightrope Christmas Concert in The Graduate Pub, Kiliney, which is on the 7th and 8th of December. I'll be singing Fairytale of New York by The Pogues, Santa Baby and Baby It's Cold Outside in my audition this weekend.
I seem to keep forgetting that I'm not rich, and I like to convince myself I can afford things that are worth more than I am (not a low-blow on my self esteem, these things are just really expensive). I've become obsessed with a lace cover up from Bastyan that I spotted in Cosmopolitan. It's £195, so unless I decide that I don't want to own any other belongings, it looks as though theres no blouse coming my way anytime soon.

I'm also head over heels in love with these bad boys (no pun intended tehe).

I could go on and show you everything I want, but instead I'll just pop in a few photos to sum up my needs:
The whole Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
Will I ever, ever, ever be blessed with a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas?
My laptop has decided to go on strike, so I'd thoroughly appreciate this lovely MacBook so I can get iOS 5 already, the anticipation is killing me.

In other news, I've decided that I'm going to invest in a maxi skirt, whether I'll wear it or not I think it's worth it just to have one as an option. I wish I wasn't so short and stumpy cause then they wouldn't look crazy on me.
I've changed my mind again about college, I know it's a while away but I still can't quite decide on anything to do. At the moment I'm leaning towards Culinary Arts, Product Design, or Costume/Set Design. This means I should really get started on a portfolio, but I honest to God have no idea where to start.
Anywho, it's closing up on 1am on a Friday night, and yes I'm sitting at home at my computer writing to absolutely nobody, feeling sorry for myself because I don't have enough money to buy fancy things and live the high life.
Hasta Luego x

Fifth year seems to be hitting hard.
I warned myself that it'd be a huge change to fourth year, but did I listen? Course not.

Once again I've abandoned this for the past three or so months, but I haven't just been sitting at home twiddling my thumbs waiting for the hours to pass, I've been keeping busy!
In early August, I joined a musical group called Tightrope Productions, ran by Brian Dooley and Siobhan O'Dowd. We had out first production on the 15th and 16th of September, called "It's Showtime!". It was a selection of songs from loads of musicals, like Blood Brothers, Miss Saigon, Wicked and Guys and Dolls. Although it temporarily took over my life, spending about 80% of my time at rehearsals, it was an amazing show, and pretty much my musical debut! I took part in the school musical earlier this year, but was just in the chorus. I joined Tightrope with a couple of friends, not knowing many other people doing it. We all became so close and I'm now a bit of a musical nerd cause they've all rubbed off on me. Just last night I went to see a live streaming of The Phantom of the Opera from the Royal Albert Hall in Dun Laoghaire cinema, not going to lie, it gave me shivers.
Anyway, I was given a couple of minor parts in It's Showtime, but mainly I played Diana, a bit of a diva from Puerta Rica, singing "Nothing" from A Chorus Line. Obviously I was beyond nervous but I managed to not pee my pants on stage, and frankly I consider that a successful show.
Apart from that, life's pretty much just been taken up by the 10 and a half hours of school I do a day, and the ridiculous amount of internet TV I've started watching.

Madre is a callin', my spaghetti's ready.
